Commissioner Swope highlighted the commendable actions of Sergeant Monica Laird and correctional officers Zachary Baylor, Jonathan Ham, Matt Vogel, Evan Young, Michael Gross, Shane Basterisk, and Justin Whitmire. Each officer received a \"Job Well Done\" award, which included a pin and a letter of congratulations, acknowledging their professionalism and dedication during a critical incident on September 14, 2024.
