Marshfield prepares for exciting Dairyland Balloon Jubilee

In a recent update presented by Matt McClain, executive director of Visit Marshfield, the community celebrated the success of Fall Fest and announced exciting upcoming events. McClain reported that the festival, held last month, enjoyed excellent weather and high attendance, attributing its success to the support of city staff and volunteers.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will host the Dairyland Balloon Jubilee on July 11-12 at C.H. Furacres Farm, with Visit Marshfield as a major sponsor. The event is expected to feature 32 hot air balloons, promising to be another highlight for the community.

Additionally, McClain introduced a new YouTube series aimed at promoting local attractions, particularly targeting a younger and more diverse audience. The series will feature Nikki Anderson, leveraging her journalism background to showcase the Wildwood Park and Zoo, which has been a local attraction for over a century. The initiative marks a strategic shift for Visit Marshfield, as they seek to engage with audiences through different platforms and enhance the visibility of local tourism offerings.
