As a third-generation laborer, Booker expressed his pride in being a Democrat and highlighted the transformative impact of Biden's policies on working people.

Booker emphasized the importance of Biden's infrastructure law, which he credited for the ongoing reconstruction of roads and bridges across the country. He noted that during his travels, he witnessed firsthand the positive effects of these initiatives, particularly in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where laborers, including many apprentices, are engaged in green jobs such as solar farm construction, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act.

The union leader also pointed to the Chips and Science Bill, which has spurred the creation of numerous manufacturing jobs in Michigan, revitalizing the local economy and restoring over a million manufacturing positions nationwide. He underscored the significance of the American Rescue Plan, which has restored pensions for a million Americans, ensuring that workers receive fair compensation.

Booker concluded his remarks by commending Biden for prioritizing American workers over corporate interests, asserting that the president not only advocates for labor rights but actively implements policies that benefit the workforce.
