During a recent government meeting, the Nolensville community celebrated the achievements of its youth baseball teams, recognizing both the 6U and 10U Little League teams for their outstanding performances this season.

The evening began with the recognition of the 6U team, coached by Anthony Moore and Weslay, who brought home a championship after a successful run in the district tournament. Coach Colby Rasmus praised the dedication of his players, highlighting their hard work during extensive practice sessions. He expressed pride in the character-building aspect of the sport, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and perseverance.

Following this, the 10U team was honored for making history as the first Nolensville Little League team to advance past the district tournament, ultimately winning both the district and state championships. Coaches Adam Kelly, Bill Packard, and Mark Carter commended the players for their commitment and enthusiasm, noting that their hard work led them to compete for the regional championship in North Carolina.

Both teams received certificates and challenge coins in recognition of their achievements, showcasing the community's support for youth sports and the values of teamwork and dedication instilled in the players.
